Komal Kochhar, Project Manager, Bowen Research Center and Department of Family Medicine, evaluates School-based health clinics in Indiana for Learning Well, Inc. She coordinates, conducts, compiles, analyzes, and manages surveys and data between various school sponsors and school health clinics on a day-to-day basis.

Dr. Kochhar is a medical graduate of the University of Delhi. In 2001, she received a certificate in Health Systems Management from Indiana University. In May 2003, she graduated with a Master's in Health Administration from Indiana University.

Prior to joining the Department of Family Medicine, she was a Graduate Research Assistant in Bowen Research Center, where she was involved with evaluation and academic research pertaining to public health issues. Dr. Kochhar’s professional affiliations include the Delhi Medical Association and the Indian Medical Association.

During the past year, Dr. Kochhar has worked with the Department faculty and prepared reports, abstracts, and manuscripts. She presented at the 2003 National Conference for Tobacco or Health. Having a clinical background and the administrative skills from MHA, she hopes to expand her professional horizon within the department. In her free time she loves to travel, hike, bike, cook, and read!
